Auspicious date for Guru Bandhus

Dear Sai Anugraha Family members & Guru Bandhus, 

Sairam & divine blessings of Shri Sai to you and your family.  

It is the duty of all Guru Bandhus to worship Sadguru every day by practicing any one of Nava Vidha Bhakthi i.e. in the form of offering Pooja, doing Parayn of holy books, keertan (singing glory of the Guru) etc. 

It is a blessing to Guru Bandhus to worship our beloved Swamy on the days/dates that are auspicious for that avatar. One such auspicious date is 30th April which is connected with Swamy Samarth.

Swamy Samarth is 4th incarnation of Lord Datta. It is believed that 2nd Incarnation of Lord Datta - Sri Narasimha Saraswathi Swamy after doing Penance for 300 years appeared as Swamy Samarth at Akkalkot in the year 1856. He showed many miracles and showered his grace on many. When many devotees asked his whereabouts, Swamy used to say that his name was Narasimha Bhan and he came for Kadalivan. 

It is also believed that Swamy visited Maniknagar and stayed with 3rd incarnation of Lord Datta - Shri Manikprabhu Maharaj and both were involved in deep spiritual discussions. 

In many instances, he stated that Shiridi is his resting place and he is blessing everyone in the form of Saibaba. Shri Sai also gave many experiences to devotees visiting him that he is none other than Akkalkot Maharaj. You can find these stories mentioned in Chapter 5 & 26 of Shri Sai Satcharitra. Swamy showed spiritual path to many and elevated many souls, protected many devotees by his divine power and had shown many miracles. 

One day suddenly Swamy announced that the time had come for him to go out of his physical existence. By Hindu calendar It was Chaitra Sudha trayodasi, Shaka 1800 i.e. the year 1878 AD Tuesday at 4 PM, he seated himself in Padmasana (Lotus Posture) and uttered his last words – “No one should weep I shall always be present at all places and I shall respond to every call of the devotees”. 

As per Gregorian calendar it was on 30th April which is today. Hence we request all Sai Anugraha family members & Guru Bandhus to remeber our beloved Swamy today and read either Chapter 5 or Chapter 26 or both chapters from Sai Satcharitra or read any parayan books on Swamy Samarth without fail. Also, please offer Curd rice with Lemon Pickle and Onion if possible as Naivedyam to Shri Swamy.

As you know Lord Datta is “Smatrugami” which means one who responds instantly when thought of and "Smarana Matra Santhusth" which means who is pleased and happy just by mere remembrance of his name. Let us remember and get divine blessings of Shri Maharaj.

Sairam Kishore ji..  how are you ? It's been long time since I contacted you.. I am sharing an experience with you. 

I have been embraced by Baba's blessings since 1994. Since then my love and belief for Baba is definitely growing. Baba is always a person I look upto for all my clarity on many issues and questions. Like Dasganu got message from a simple little girl so are many of my experiences. 

The latest one being on Friday 19/04/19. I read Sai Satcharitra 1 chapter everyday and on Friday I read about how baba loved Nama Sankreethan and the vision of Vittal. That evening I wanted to go to The NamaSagar by Shri Vittaldas Maharaj In Alwarpet. I took train and I got down at mylapore station at around 6pm. Near the mylapore station is the famous Saibaba temple. 

I wished to go there but the program was at 7pm so due to fear of being delayed due to evening aarthi I just processed for thr bhajan program. The Bhajan program got over by 9pm and I took an auto to reach station. The driver took a totally lonely route to station. I was so scared and prayed to Baba and vittal to be with me to remain safe and there was no one on the road. 

But the miracle has to happen and it happened from nowhere the auto stood just before the saibaba temple and the Shej aarthi just started. I literally jumped out of the auto and entered the temple with tear filled eyes and participated in the aarthi. My joy knew no bounds. Felt blessed.

As you said Shri Sai gave much importance to Namasmaran as it is mentioned "Kalau Smarana Mukthi:". It is important that in this Kali Age everyone has to do Nama Smaran. Saibaba blessed my daughter with U.S. Visa

Want to share a wonderful experience, indeed power of doing daily Sai Satcharitra Parayan. 

On 1st April Arti ji had forward an experience related to Visa. Same experience was with me.🙏 We applied our US Visa, my daughter is attending an conference in May. So we all decided we all will apply and visit with her. My husband visa and my visa was immediately approved. But the visa officer, mentioned that my daughter's application has to go through administrative processing and for this he requested her CV and other conference details. We sent immediately and were waiting for almost a week but no updates. 

I was worried but always have trust in my Sai ji, he would take care of everything. We planned only because my daughter is going and so we are going with her and rest all remains in his hands. I read the experience which Arti ji forwarded and very next day I decided, I will also complete my parayan of Sai Satcharitra in 3 days. 

See the miracle I completed and Sunday morning, received the message from US embassy to submit her passport. We got her Visa stamped in another 2 days everything was done. Never to forget Sai takes care of everything. We just have to full faith and patience and everything is possible as he is in our life every moment, every day, every second.

Sai blessed Roopa ji to perform Shej Aarati

Dear Sai Anugraha Family members & Guru Bandhus,

Sairam & Divine blessings of Shri Sai to you and your family. 

As you all know our beloved Sai blessed Sai Anugraha to host Akhand Saptaah (Non-stop Satpaah) Sai Satcharitra Parayan from 18th October 2018 and we successfully completed 26 Saptaahs as on 10th April 2019. We created a WhatsApp group and named it as Sai Darbar. Our Sai also made participants in Sai Darbar group offering Aarati daily. Every day, 4 participants from the group will get a blessed opportunity to offer 1 Aarati each to Swamy.

Roopa Khurana ji who is a participant in Sai Darbar group got an opportunity to perform Shej Aarati. Read below how our beloved Sai read her mind and blessed her with the Aarati she wanted to perform.

I've always felt blessed because of Saibaba and his presence around me. There have been times when I've kept my thoughts to myself and shared it with no one around me, still I got what I prayed for after having full faith and patience. 

From the time I read that all the members would get the opportunity to perform aarti for baba, I wished to get Shej aarti because I knew I'd be occupied with work at other times. I Know Kishore Sir advised to hear the aarti if we were not able to perform it with due formalities, but I prayed to do it properly whenever baba chose me. 

I've always believed that prayers and aarti should be done genuinely and not as a drill. It's okay if you miss doing your Pooja or aarti because of some reason, the only thing is that one must join his hands in front of God and say his prayers faithfully. I believe there's no point in doing something where your soul isn't fully involved. Just being grateful for what you have and remembering baba or chanting his name is equivalent to any Pooja. 

I felt another miracle today when Geet Ma'am informed me that I had to perform  tomorrow's Shej Aarti. Only baba knew I would be able to peacefully perform the aarti at that time and I couldn't be more thankful to baba and the whole Sai Anugraha family to give me this opportunity. 

May baba keep blessing us always, and show us his presence in such lovely unexpected ways.

24th April is Our beloved Swamy’s Maha Samadhi day. On this date in 2011, our Swamy took Maha Samadhi at Puttaparthi. 

Our beloved Swamy gave a thought to organize Virtual Samuhik Parayan of Tapovanam marking Swamy’s Maha Samadhi day on 24th April 2019. I started working on gathering the PDF of Tapovanam from different languages and also looking for Swamy’s pictures to keep as WhatsApp group (Tapovanam Parayan) Picture. 

I was browsing Radio Sai Facebook Pages, online sites to get Swamy’s photo and I was not getting any positive feel and was not able to select any picture. 

Exactly at the same moment, Sai Anugraha Sevak and family member Sai Krishna ji sent below picture in my WhatsApp. 

See how beautiful the picture is! How beautiful Swamy's smile is! How apt the message is! How perfect the timing is! 

With this it is very evident that Swamy only blessed me with the thought of organising Virtual Samuhik Parayan of Tapovanam on his Maha Samadhi day.

Please read below divine experiences given by our beloved Sai to one of Sai Anugraha family member Janaki Amma who takes part in all spiritual initiatives of Sai Anugraha and participates in Baba Prasadalay and other Social service initiatives of Sai Anugraha at the age of 80+.

Sairam Kishore. 

This is what happened on the seventh day of Bhagavad Gita Parayan. I am reading both English and Tamil, being in both groups Dwaraka and Gokul. I usually start the Parayana at 2.00pm as it is very convenient for me to read without any disturbance. Before starting the Parayana I chant 5 Malas  (540 counts) Hare Krishna Hare Krishna and then start reading Gita. 

On Wednesday I started with English version, 7th Chapter KNOWLEDGE OF THE ABSOLUTE. As usual I started chanting and completed 5 Malas of Hare Krishna Hare Krishna by 2.35 pm and finished reading the 7th Chapter. Then I started my second round of chanting 5 Malas before completing my Tamil version, and almost finished chanting. 

That time I was shocked because I had a feeling that someone was standing near me and playing the FLUTE. The music was so melodious and mesmerizing. I thought it was only my imagination . I was in the closed AC room and the T.V was Switched off. My neighbor was out of station and there was no chance of any music coming from her house. 

I felt that the divine music was being played by none other than LORD KRISHNA and the music continued for about 9 minutes and then stopped. I could identify the raga as Punnagavarali, the raga that entices the serpents, and it is one of my favourite Raga. Still I couldn't believe that it actually happened to me, and I am that much lucky and worthy to listen to that divine music. 

I finished my reading of Tamil version and thanked Lord Krishna for giving me a lifetime chance of hearing his divine music, which enthralled the GOPIS of Brindhavan. Without any forethought I decided to do ' THAPOVANAM ' Parayan for 3 consecutive three weeks as SATYA SAI BABA'S SAMADHI DAY falls on 24th April.  

Why I thought like that and what is the meaning behind it, I couldn't understand. I started my 1st Parayan on 11th Thursday and by Baba's grace I hope to complete all the 3 without any break. 

I thank you and especially Sridevi for giving me the opportunity to do GITA Parayana which I hope I will not stop till my end. Once again I thank all the volunteers for their selfless service to make all the initiatives successful. 

This is what happened today on Sri Rama Navami.

I decided to chant NAMA RAMAYANAM 9 times before 9 am. When I was about to complete my 9th one my sister- in -law called me and told that she is going to book tickets on 16th May in Chennai - Shirdi flight. Now I understood why Baba has stopped me from going to Shirdi last November with Sai Anugraha Family members. He knew that I would fall sick and couldn't withstand train journey. I hope this time I will have the Darshan of SAI MA TO MY HEARTS CONTENT .

Saibaba blessed Satya ji & Shri Rama Navami Parayan

As you know Sai Anugraha is blessed to organize Virtual Samuhik Sai Satcharitra Parayan and Nama Ramayan Parayan on the auspicious day of Shri Rama Navami. There is a dilemma among many participants on Shri Rama Navami date whether it is to be celebrated on 13th April 2019 or 14th April 2019. As always we are following the date as per Shirdi calendar and requested all participants to complete and celebrate Shri Rama Navami on 13th April 2019.

Read below experience of Sai Anugraha family member Satya ji who had same dilemma on the date and how beautifully Swamy cleared her doubt and with this miracle he cleared doubt of everyone.

I am grateful to Baba and you all Sai Anugraha team for the opportunity to participate in the initiatives of Sai Anugraha starting with Aarati Saibaba 100.  

At present I am participating in Datta Darbar, Daily  parayan of Sri Guru Charitra and Sri Sai Satcharitra. I am in Samadi Mandir group for Parayan on Gudipadwa and Ramanavami.  I am also got opportunity to participate in Nama Ramayanam Parayan. 

Today I was performing pooja and aarthi at about 3.45 AM IST so that I can start parayan after 4 AM. Here the local temple and residents decided to perform Ramanavami on 14th April. I am doing today and the family wants to do it tomorrow.   

During the pooja, I was thinking about that. The thought could not be avoided flashing again and again. I closed my eyes and requested Baba to help me to get rid of the feelings. I reminded myself about the incident of Kaka Saheb  Dikshit from Chapter 23. I told myself that I should follow the command of 'Sadguru Sai'. No other thought. 

As I opened my eyes, a flower placed on Baba's padukas slowly slipped and fell on the naivedyam plate kept before His Asan. I over joyed and said thanks to Baba and you all.  He approved my prayer. 

One more thing is that I was allotted chapter 51 for Gudipadwa parayan and chapter 1 for today's parayan. Today I did parayan of Chapter 1 and 6 as instructed and chapter 51 again (Satcharitra Daily parayan).

I’m blessed by Shri Sai to be part of an organisation Sai Anugraha which was started with his blessings to serve the poor and needy thru Social service initiatives and showing a way for many spiritual aspirants thru different initiatives of Sai Anugraha Spiritual Trust. 

Read below how beautifully our beloved Sai read my mind and gave assurance that he is the one who is taking care of all initiatives of Sai Anugraha. 

Every year from 1st April to 30th June we organize fund raising towards Books OR Bricks Initiative. This year the target is ₹15,00,000/-. It has passed 7 days and we were able to achieve only 15% of the target. I was really worried and prayed Swamy to ignore if I had done any mistakes and also knowingly or unknowingly taken any credit to any initiative of Sai Anugraha. 

That day, we went to a staunch Saibaba devotee Rajiv ji and started talking about Sai Anugraha, Saibaba’s miracles etc. Suddenly Rajiv ji sent an amount of $500 (₹35,000/- approx). I checked with him if he wants to use it for Books Or Bricks. He was so particular that it should be used towards Baba Prasadalay 365 Initiative as he chose Sponsorship of homes every month. 

We were about to start from his house and then he presented below attached Baba photo as a blessing and appreciation for the work we are doing as part of Sai Anugraha and also donated an amount of $334.30 (₹23,401 approx) that he is keeping aside. When asked him, he said Baba wanted him to give for Books or Bricks Initiative and he is just following what Baba said. 

Now read Baba's message on the photo😀.  

“You are my Loving Child. And I will always protect and care for you.” 

See how beautifully Swamy heard what I was thinking and assured me that he is the doer and also not to worry about Sai Anugraha Initiatives.

Gudi Padwa Parayana Experience shared by Saibaba Chaganty ji

Sai Anugraha is blessed by Shri Sai to host Virtual Samuhik Sai Satcharitra Parayan on the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa. This festival is celebrated as Ugadi/Yugadi/New Year in many states in India and is a 1st day of the New Year as per Indian traditional calendar.

My dear Kishore!

First may I thank SAI MAHARAJ for giving me the opportunity of taking part in the Gudi Padwa Parayana organised by SAI ANUGRAHA!

You may be aware that this being composes the messages to be sent on social media previous night. I composed & posted too yesterday evening itself. I was totally out of mind that the very next day is Vikari Nama Ugadi to Telugus & Guri Parva for some others! Then I checked the whatsapp messages & unfortunately the message sent by SAI ANUGRAHA allotting me a chapter & group name was deleted accidentally. & at about 1.15 am I have sent a message to group & accordingly my Chapter & Group's Name are given. Immediately I have incorporated the same in my messages & Ugadi Greetings were added. Is it not SAI Maharaj who reminded me my dury?

It was SAI SADGURU who allotted the chapter No; 39 to me & Name of the Group as Gurusthan.

It was a very apt chapter allotted by Sai Sadguru to me. As in the chapter SAI Sadguru explained Nana Chandorkar that 'Seva is not rendering service that one free to offer or refuse the service. One must feel that, he is not master of the body, that the body is "Guru's" & exists merely to render service to him. 

If this is done, the Sadguru will show you the path to reach Him.

It is very apt interpretation Kishore. I wanted to go to Shirdi for Shri Rama Navami & utilised one name in the Guri Parva Parayana group for help. That was a mistake I did. I prayed SAI Malik to pardon me for this & He has allotted the chapter that was most appropriate for me. Before this itself, I stopped asking for financial help from that name & deleted his number too. But that very thought that I did a mistake haunts me much & I was almost in tears. Then this chapter was allotted to me by SAI Sadguru & shown me the path.

I am thankful to SAI Sadguru for allowing me to take part in the Group Parayana. As informed you earlier in this communication, I would be reaching Shirdi on 11th & stay there till the Main Day of the Shri Rama Navami festival there, i.e. 13th Aprill 2019.

Sai Anugraha is blessed to host Nama Ramayanam

Dear Sai Anugraha Family members & Guru Bandhus,

Sairam & Divine blessings of Shri Sai to you and your family.

With divine grace of Shri Swamy, for the past many years we are blessed to conduct Virtual Samuhik Sai Satcharitra Parayan on the auspicious day of Shri Rama Navami. We were sending email and requesting everyone to register for the same. 

This year our beloved Swamy gave a message to start Gudi Padwa Parayan and also gave a message to continue with participants of Gudi Padwa for Shri Rama Navami too and no separate registration needed. We were wondering why this change. I'm sure everyone reading this post will have same question too😊.

We got to know the reason behind this only when we received below message from Tanmaya on a new Parayan initiative on Shri Rama Navami day Swamy wanted Sai Anugraha to host in addition to Virtual Samuhik Sai Satcharitra Parayan.

Got a dream this morning. As part of Sriramanavami, Sai Anugraha is hosting Nama Ramayanam. There were lots and lots of participants who were involved in this great chanting. I could clearly see in the dream- Geet ji and your name. I was also there in the list of participants😊. 

As part of chanting, devotees can either Sing or listen to Nama Ramayanam and each and every count from the devotees was taken by the Sevaks and finally offered to the lotus feet of Shri Sai Baba on Ramanavami day. I felt this is really an another blessing by Baba on such an auspicious occasion and he is making us do through Sai Anugraha family. Please initiate this Annaya 😃🙏🏻 Looking forward for it.

Swarna ji blessed by Sripada

Sairam ji. 

I am writing this to share my experience regarding Sripada Srivallaba. Last year 2018 around June I was introduced to Sripada Srivallaba through Sai Anugraha. At that time I joined the group to read chapter 52.  I tried reading the pdf file of the Charitamrutam but left it midway as I found it difficult to read soft copy. Then for the Datta Darbar Parayan I started but as my father passed away in October I did not continue. 

Meanwhile I had also ordered online for the English book from Pithapuram Samsthan in first week of October. But did not get the book. As Samsthan person informed there was no stock. By then December also came and I gave up hope that I will get the book. But on Datta Jayanthi I received the courier from Samsthan at around 12 noon. I was overjoyed and read that day's group parayan of chapter 30 from the book. 

Then I wanted a photo of Sripada Srivallaba to worship. While I could have printed it out from website I was very particular that I should get it only from the Samsthan. So I thought if He blesses me I will get the photo somehow.

It so happened that in February 22-24, my colleagues Pearl and her husband Kosalaraman went to Kakinada for a family function. I told Pearl that if they have time they can plan a visit to Pithapuram which is less than 20 kilometres from Kakinada. Then on Feb 24 they went to Pithapuram and sent some photos of the temple over WhatsApp. But they could not get any photo of Sripada Srivallaba from the Samsthan that day.

After returning Pearl contacted another relative of theirs and had asked them to get the photo from Samsthan. Finally on Feb 28, Thursday, she gave me two laminated pictures, one framed picture and also one idol of Sripada Srivallaba, which was from the Samsthan!

I felt really blessed by Sripada Srivallaba! I am continuing to chant Siddha Mangala stothram daily and now my mother also chants daily.

Sripadarajam saranam Prapadye!
